| Getting Started
// Are you bored with the same old routes?
// Are you finding it difficult motivating yourself to get out and run?
// Would you like to run more often but feel unsafe out on your own?
// Would you like to run with a group, rather than going for your usual solitary run?
// Would you like the opportunity to compete in club races?
If you answered “YES” to one or more of the above, then, joining your local running club could be just the solution!

Contrary to the general perception, most clubs are NOT just for elite athletes, obsessed with training and
with running high-profile races!
Members of Belper Harriers are a cross-section of like-minded individuals of varying ages and abilities,
who enjoy the many benefits of training, racing and socialising with other runners on a regular basis.
| Help along the way
On club nights there are always 3 or 4 running groups to cater for all abilities. There is always someone to chat to and to provide encouragement along the way. No runners are ever left behind and there are regular stops to ensure that everyone remains together.

Next Steps
So, why not come along and meet us on a Tuesday evening at 7.15pm in the Belper Leisure Centre (usual location), where you can benefit from the experience of our members and obtain advice and encouragement to help make your efforts more rewarding?
